It has been a hot topic this past few days, I can still smell the fresh paint este! the rants of my neighbors last Saturday 11am upon receiving Meralco Bill Statement for the month of March everyone's got an 8% to 20% shoot up on their bill from the previous month ughh!

Our usual electric bill is around 1200+ and that includes an exhaust fan,5 fluorescent lights ,3 electric fan, refrigerator, TV, dvd and laptop with extras on cell chargers and others (our meter run only from 6pm to 7:30am since baby and yaya was on my nearby parents house when we are at work). for this current billing, 2 kw was added plus the increase and we are billed 1500+ and that includeds some 1 to 2 hours routine brownout on some days.

We are very conscious on our electric consumption, we even made sure that we live in a well-ventilated place with natural light as for us not to use air con and electric light plus make sure we just few away from market so don't need to store too much food in our fridge.

I am not interested in Meralco's excuse for this increase all I know is that another 300 pesos from our pocket will go to their fund and I hate it!

According to Meralco's latest advertisement "May liwanag ang buhay" meron nga ba? ( "There's light in life" is there?) when you will slash hundreds and thousands of peso from our budget.
